At the crossroads at a height of 890 m above sea level, continue straight along the asphalted road for about 300 m and at the next crossroads turn right onto a steep forest road. The road climbs further up until you reach another crossroads (at a height of 970 m above sea level) where it continues straight on, slightly downhill, until it reaches the bottom of the wooded Rio Secco valley. After crossing the Rio Secco brook (at a height of 870 m above sea level), start climbing again along a steep cart track to reach a creek (at a height of 960 m above sea level). Here you join a wider forest road that winds slightly uphill for a stretch and then it goes downhill towards Ravascletto and the cable car departure station, which can be used to climb up to Mount Zoncolan.
From the arrival station, follow the road that winds along the Mount Zoncolan ridge to the pass where the Ovaro Sutrio carriageway passes (see Stage 3). Follow the road in the direction of Ovaro and go down towards Casera Pozof (Marmoreana), or to the left continue along the stage 3 route in the direction of Casera Meleit and Sutrio.
